Why it works

Random choices feel easier when everyone can see the result.

Let Fate Decide turns a plain list into a clear visual picker. Add names, meals, chores, prizes, tasks, or ideas, then spin once and use the result without accounts, downloads, or setup.

Use it for classroom participation, giveaway winners, household rotations, dinner decisions, team order, or quick everyday choices. The Results tab keeps recent picks visible when you need a lightweight record.

How to use the wheel

Make the list clear before you spin.

1. Add real options

Use one option per line and only include results you are willing to accept. A dinner wheel should include meals you can actually order or cook tonight. A classroom wheel should include eligible students or tasks for the current activity.

2. Choose the right mode

Use Pick One when you need a single result. Use Pick Two when you need partners, matchups, dinner combinations, chore pairs, or two topics from the same list.

3. Adjust fairness

For equal odds, list each option once and keep the probability sliders even. If one result should be more likely, use the Probabilities tab and make that weighting intentional.

4. Keep a record

The Results tab can track recent spins in the current browser session. Use it when you need a lightweight record for a classroom activity, giveaway test, chore rotation, or meeting order.

Fairness and privacy

A useful random picker starts with a responsible list.

A random wheel is fair only when the input list is fair. If every entry appears once, each entry has the same chance. If names are repeated or probability sliders are changed, some entries become more likely. That can be useful for bonus giveaway entries, weighted choices, or priority tasks, but it should be clear before the spin.

Let Fate Decide processes wheel options in the browser and does not require an account. Saved presets stay in the current browser. For classroom, workplace, or public event use, avoid adding sensitive details when initials, labels, or nicknames are enough.

Common mistakes

Small setup choices make the wheel more useful.

Questions and answers

Random decision wheel questions

What can I use Let Fate Decide for?

Use it as a spin wheel, name picker, random choice picker, giveaway selector, classroom picker, chore picker, or decision maker.

Do I need an account?

No. The current version is built for fast one-page use without accounts, downloads, or saved personal data.

How should I get the best result?

Add one option per line, keep the list realistic, then spin once. If the result is not usable, remove it and spin again.

Can I pick two random options at once?

Yes. Switch to Pick Two mode to choose two distinct entries from your current list. It works best for pairings, matchups, combinations, or choosing two tasks.

Can I change the odds for each option?

Yes. Open the Probabilities tab and adjust each option with a slider. The wheel shows approximate percentages based on the current slider values.

Where are saved presets stored?

Saved presets are stored in your current browser only. They are not uploaded, synced, or shared by this static page.

Is this safe for classroom use?

Yes for low-stakes classroom activities, but avoid entering sensitive student details. Initials, first names, nicknames, or activity labels are usually enough.

Can I use this for giveaways?

Yes for small drawings and visible random picks. For formal contests, make sure your rules, eligibility, prize terms, and local requirements are handled before spinning.

Will ads appear next to the wheel controls?

No ad placements should be added inside the wheel, button, dice, result, or control area. Any future ads should be clearly separated from the tool content and labeled appropriately.
